Universal Hinge Bolt-On Hinge™ helps to reduce facility down time and helps to maximize operational efficiency by eliminating the many hours traditionally needed to remove heavy access covers on Chillers, Condensers, Evaporators, Manways, Exchanger Heads, Pressure Vessel Covers, and just about any cover that is bolted to a flange. 

The Bolt-On Hinge™ eliminates the need for incremental workers and the long down time traditionally needed to remove a heavy access cover.  NO Rigging, NO Welding, NO Cranes, No Gantries and No Special Equipment is necessary.  The Bolt-On Hinge™ is installed while the access cover is fixed to its mating flange.

Once the Bolt-On Hinge™ is installed, it will take your mechanic approximately 15 minutes, NOT hours to open the access cover.  The heavy access cover is ALWAYS FULLY SUPPORTED leaving the mechanic free to safely and efficiently preform required maintenance, inspection and emergency fixes.  

The Bolt-On Hinge™ is installed while the access cover is attached to its mating flange. It is fastened by using the existing bolt holes in the cover and the mating flange. Installation does not require any hot work or welding eliminating the need to recertify the vessel.

Our proprietary Bolt-On Hinge™ is highly engineered and precisely calibrated to function with all ASME/ANSI, AWWA, API and TEMA flanges and most Strainer Covers including Tee Strainers. Bolt-On Hinge™ is available for All Types, All Sizes and All Pressure Ratings of equipment.

There are a great many Tee Strainers and other equipment that must be maintained on a regular basis in LNG plants.  The access covers on these strainers are often elevated, heavy and difficult to remove.  

The Universal Hinge Bolt-On Hinge™ eliminates the necessity of renting expensive cranes, rigging and gantries to take these coves off.  Using the existing bolt holes, simply attach the Bolt-On Hinge™ to the Tee Strainer.  The cover is ALWAYS FULLY SUPPORTED allowing you to safely, easily and efficiently open and close it just like a door.
